Number of patients up at District Hospital, Panchthar with increasing heat

23 June, Panchthar: The number of patients visiting the District Hospital, Panchthar has increased due to scorching heat.

According to the Hospital, number of patients suffering from different diseases including fever, typhoid, diarrhoea and dysentery has increased. Medical Officer Dr Om Prakash Yadav said that over 150 patients visit the hospital daily.

Patients from Panchthar as well as Terhathum and Taplejung also visit the 15-bed hospital.

Yadav said that they have been facing problem providing treatment due to increasing crowd of patients as well as lack of sufficient beds. RSS
